curing panic and anxiety part II

hello everyone out there Im back with another post, tonight id like to talk some more about curing your anxiety and panic attacks.. As i explained in the previous post Anxiety and panic attacks are formed through habits and obsessing over anxiety provoking situations. It is vital that you realize that
anxiety disorder is neither a physical nor mental illness at all it is a behavioral condition

The word disorder suggests illness, but I can assure you that you are not ill.

 Anxiety is a natural response to fear and, like other bodily systems that can falter, causing things like indigestion, palpitations or sensitive eyes for example, the anxiety response can become disrupted too.

But, this isn't mental or physical illness... it's a temporary disruption which can be 'reset' very quickly indeed.

Anxiety disorder is the condition caused when stress or constant anxiety provoking situations cause the mind to become reset at a higher than normal benchmark anxiety level. Anxiety disorder is most noticeable by the vast range of unpleasant sensations and thoughts it creates.

Creation of an anxiety disorder can happen quickly and is usually the result of an event such as work stress, bereavement, divorce or other anxiety-provoking situations.

When anxiety levels become raised due to such stressors, the mind can make a decision to re-set at this new level of anxiety; when this happens an anxiety disorder is formed.

Anxiety causes a wide range of both physical and psychological symptoms, all directly caused by the anxiety reaction, all harmless, BUT they all feel much worse than they actually are!

They are the sensation of the emotion of FEAR... BUT, they are NOT true fear!


There are five main 'anxiety disorders', these are:
Generalized anxiety disorder
Panic disorder
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
Phobia
Post traumatic stress disorder




John Broadus Watson was a noted American Psychologist who established the Psychological School of Behaviorism. Watson believed showed how he could take twelve healthy children and by creating behavioral changes, could 'design' people to be however he wanted them to become.

Watson showed that even deep seated emotions such as fear could be conditioned using his behavioral techniques. He used a small child of 11 months called 'Little Albert' and conditioned him to be frightened of random objects such as a rabbit, a dog and (incredibly) some wool! Watson showed these objects to little Albert and at the same time, made a very loud noise.

The experiment was an enormous success as Little Albert became conditioned to respond with fear when presented with the chosen objects alone. Watson had conditioned anxiety and this caused shockwaves amongst the psychological fraternity which believed that the fear response was something pre-programmed into humans and couldn't be changed. The pioneer of this belief was world famous psychologist Sigmund Freud.

As unethical as this experiment was using a small child as an experiment (which is incredible), it showed, without doubt, that fear responses could be increased by fear conditioning and that anxiety disorders can be created and eliminated given the correct treatment.

This theory is the foundation to The Linden Method which proves 100% that Watson's theory and his conclusive experiment with Little Albert are correct and that in the same way as anxiety can become programmed into someone, it can also be de-programed and the way to de program it is through BEHAVIORAL conditioning! Learning an insturment, a martial arts program, Learning to fly a plane, Etc.. in my personal experience with my own anxiety I realized that my salvation layed in playing the drums! When i began learning drums i almost immediatley felt a reduction in my anxiety levels, and when combined with the martial arts program it was becoming alot less frequent, Now dont get me wrong the condition did take a few years to reverse.. but it took years to manifest itself as well... Remember it is NOT real and these in-appropriate fear responses are NOT going to harm you and they can be cured 100%.. the key is to remain persistent like with any other habit.. you will become anxiety free..
